Build on your essential skills

We're providing online learning opportunities to existing and new farmers and growers, to continually improve skills and knowledge.

There are several core subject areas that all potential employees would do well to have a solid understanding of before working on a farm.

Our Essential Skills online learning courses have been designed to provide that fundamental foundation of knowledge, allowing new starters to get up to speed fast and existing employees to refresh their knowledge periodically, too.

What's more, as with all the learning resources in our Learning Hub, your progress will be saved as you go, meaning you can tackle these courses at your own pace.

Once you've completed them, you'll be issued a certificate automatically saved in your Learning Record, allowing you to quickly evidence your achievements to your current or prospective employer.
