The environmental and land-based sector is critically important to the overall economy of the UK.

As such, it needs to encourage new entrants with strong science, technology and business skills into the sector.

By getting involved in work experience, you can help raise the profile of the sector and promote a positive, progressive image of the industry, showing the high level of technical and business skills that are required.

The experience offered should also show the user that ours is a sector with excellent opportunities and career progression routes for young people.
