I am thrilled to introduce the first episode of our new series, TIAH Talks, where we bring you the latest updates and insights from The Institute for Agriculture and Horticulture (TIAH).

In this inaugural episode, I had the pleasure of sitting down with our Marketing Manager, Jemma Naish, to discuss some of the key events and initiatives that are shaping the future of agriculture and horticulture in the UK.

One of the highlights of our discussion was the recent Farm to Fork Summit, held at 10 Downing Street. This summit, hosted by the Prime Minister, brought together leaders from across the food production and farming sectors to address critical issues and set the stage for future strategies. It was an honour to attend this summit and witness firsthand the government's commitment to supporting our industry.

As I mentioned during the episode, gatherings like this show how we can make a difference by carrying on as stewards of the land and supporting our farmers in adapting to changes. We explored how we must be able to prepare in order to secure a strong future for our rural communities. I discussed my thoughts on preparing for the future and ensuring that our farmers have the resources they need to succeed in a changing world.

TIAH supporting innovation and profesional growth in farming and growing

As we move forward, TIAH remains dedicated to supporting our members through initiatives that promote sustainability, innovation and professional growth. The insights and connections gained from Cultivate Conference and the British Pig and Poultry Fair, where we hosted a panel discussion on recruiting the next generation in agriculture, will undoubtedly help us shape our strategies and better serve our community.

I encourage you to watch the first episode of TIAH Talks to get a more in-depth look at these discussions. Your feedback and engagement are invaluable as we continue to navigate the challenges and opportunities in our industry.

Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to sharing more updates with you in future episodes.

Stay tuned for more episodes where we dive deeper into the innovations and strategies driving the agricultural sector forward.
