Your opinions are vital in helping us shape the skills and knowledge resources available to farmers and growers, throughout beta testing and beyond.

Thanks to your suggestions, we've delivered a training provider map, coaching content, sector introductions and more.

We created a range of content about the industry to help those not familiar with farming and growing understand more about the sector.

About the industry

Feedback showed many people outside of the industry didn't understand enough about farming and growing or where things are grown and reared.

As such, we wrote introductions to the nine sectors of productive farming and growing, plus a description of each of the eight regions in England. These introductions can be found along with our interactive map in the about the industry section. These will help new entrants and careers advisers get a better idea of what's involved in farming and growing, and where it takes place in England.

Coaching can be a key tool in helping to retain staff.

Coaching for retention

Many employers have got in touch stressing the difficulties they've experienced in retaining staff.

With so many industries reporting difficulties in retaining employees, we created our coaching for retention learning materials to help employers clearly showcase more reasons for their staff to stay with them.

You can find out more about this learning path in our learning hub.

Training provider map

Farmers told us they're interested in finding local short courses.

To help with this, we've developed an interactive map of independent training providers, organisations and colleges/universities.

You can search the map for providers offering courses according to subject matter and location, helping you find the right provider to tackle your needs.

Farming and growing can be stressful, but plenty of help is available.

Look after your wellbeing

We've heard from several farmers and growers who wanted information on mental health and wellbeing.

We've put together our first wellbeing page, outlining several services and organisations who are ready to help farmers and growers.

We're in talks with several partners so that together we can bring more of the support that's available to make it easier for farmers and growers to find the help they want whenever they may need it.

About us

Many people have said they needed to better understand who we are and why there is a need for TIAH.

We've created an introduction video to help farmers, growers, careers advisers and potential new entrants understand how we aim to help them and the wider industry.

Of course, we've far more information on who we are and what we're doing, so feel free to find out more about us and our aims in the About us section.
