We're looking for volunteers to help inform the development of our skills and careers services, as we prepare for launch next year.

TIAH, the first professional body to cover all sectors of farming and growing, is looking for people working at every level on farms and horticultural sites across England, willing to offer their knowledge, opinions, and experience.

There are various opportunities, from the occasional five minutes online survey on skills and careers topics to providing career case studies or taking part in user testing of the new online service. Opportunities can be tailored to fit individual availability.

TIAH’s Business and Membership Manager, Tess Howe, explained: “TIAH is being established as the home of skills, careers and professionalism in agriculture and horticulture. We’ll support a thriving industry by supporting everyone working in farming and horticulture with all the advice and support they need to pursue a rewarding career.

“But we can only achieve this if we continuously listen to and act on the feedback of those at the front line in every industry sector. We are appealing for people willing to spare some time to give us their honest, constructive feedback to help ensure TIAH really does meet the needs of those in the industry.”
