Farm owner and farm business administration expert Christine Thompson will be talking with Oxbury Bank Senior Agricultural Relationship Manager Mel Shipley about key aspects of farm financial management, covering how to create and interpret financial statements, budgeting strategies, and tax planning considerations.
With a breadth of real farm business experience, they will discuss the changing requirements from banks in order to authorise lending and provide an update on the important accounting terms and tools to help farmers make informed decisions about investments and expenses.
They will address how to evaluate farm profitability, calculate financial ratios, and use this information for decision-making. By covering these topics, TIAH aims to equip farmers with practical knowledge to better understand and manage their farm finances for long-term success.
