Aims

This online refresher course aims to help you:

List the top causes of fatal accidents in agriculture over the past year
Identify situations in which incidents can occur on farms and describe actions to prevent, control or reduce the risks for these situations
Understand and be able to apply a basic risk assessment to a number of scenarios presented
Explain control measures for a range of hazards and understand which of these measures is the most and least effective
Give examples of sources of information and good practices relating to health and safety on farms
Develop and maintain knowledge of good farm safety practices
