It's been a tremendously busy but exciting summer! Everyone involved with TIAH was delighted when we achieved our status as an official, independent organisation on 1 July. This has been made possible by very strong support from Defra, and we are extremely grateful to them for their ongoing commitment to TIAH’s growth and success.

It's been a tremendously busy but exciting summer! Everyone involved with TIAH was delighted when we achieved our status as an official, independent organisation on 1 July. This has been made possible by very strong support from Defra, and we're extremely grateful to them for their ongoing commitment to TIAH’s growth and success.

Most of our work following this milestone has involved establishing TIAH by putting our main business systems in place. We've also begun developing our staff structure, and it's been very rewarding to see a diverse range of high calibre, talented people express an interest in working with us.

External engagement continues through a range of stakeholder meetings. This has included our quarterly get together with our industry Consultation Group on 14 September.  As always, the 30-plus members raised a range of pertinent points and asked challenging but important questions. This kind of meaningful discussion is exactly what TIAH wants to ensure our services are built closely around the needs of our ever-changing industry.

The meeting also allowed us to premiere our first Strategic Plan, which covers the period to 2026. It's ambitious but achievable if we continue to work in partnership. I hope you'll read the plan.

The publication of our strategy marks a new stage in TIAH’s development. While we're not ready yet to market our services to the industry, our profile within the sector is beginning to grow. Over the latter part of this year, we'll continue our development and build new partnerships with various stakeholders.
