Keeping skills up to date is becoming more important than ever, whether that’s adopting new technology, managing people, improving productivity or meeting new standards.

But many people tell us the hardest part isn’t the learning itself, it’s knowing what skills to focus on and finding the right support and training at the right time.

We’re exploring a new idea: an AI-powered skills development coach for farmers and growers that can be used 24/7.

Designed with farmers and growers in mind

Co-designed with farmers, growers and sector partners, the tool would help users:

  • Identify skills gaps
  • Access on demand AI coaching and mentoring support
  • Set practical development goals for yourself and your farm
  • Access relevant learning and industry information when it’s needed
  • Connect with trusted sector support
  • Track progress over time

Built to draw on recognised industry expertise

The idea is simple, practical support that fits around real farming life, available whenever you need it and accessible by voice, typing, listening or reading, whatever suits you best.

No classrooms. No wasted time. Just practical support, based on reliable expertise in a format that fits real farming life.

Before we develop the pilot, we’d really value your views - please take a couple of minutes to complete the survey at the top of this page - also accessible here.

At the end of the survey you'll be asked to provide your thoughts and feedback on the proposed pilot, whether they be about the potential it may have, the data it can draw on or the underlying tech its built on.
