Having a learning mindset

Having a learning mindset

A learning mindset is the habit of looking at experiences in your life in a way that allows you to learn from them. It makes you more resilient and will help you feel more confident when facing new opportunities and challenges.

It includes the belief that challenges help you grow, feedback is helpful, and that you can learn positive things from mistakes.

Having a learning mindset allows you to make changes to your skills.

It includes the belief that challenges help you grow, feedback is helpful, and that you can learn positive things from mistakes.

You can support a learning mindset in others by sharing your learning and knowledge and giving constructive feedback.

A learning mindset means using evidence and knowledge to improve the organisation and help meet its goals.

A learning mindset goes hand in hand with a growth mindset. This is a belief that hard work, good planning, and input from others can help you improve your skills.

Collaboration and innovation

When a company has a growth mindset, there's support in the organisation for collaboration and innovation. It also means individual employees feel more capable of and more committed to meeting the organisation’s goals.
