Integrity means being honest and straightforward in all that you do.
A person with integrity does the right thing, even behind closed doors. It means you live in line with your values, are honest with everyone, and always keep your word.

Integrity is important, as it:
- Improves your reputation
- Helps attract and keep customers
- Makes sure your employees want to carry on working for you
Acting with integrity
All TIAH members are asked to be honest and straightforward in all they do.
This behaviour includes:
- Being open and transparent in the way you work; sharing appropriate and necessary information with others in a way they can understand
- Respecting confidential information and not passing on information to others unless appropriate
- Not taking advantage of a client, colleague, or anyone who you have a duty of care for
