Trust
Trust
Trust means acting to show you, your business, and the agriculture industry in a professional and positive light - both in your work and your private life.
Workplace trust is important for an effective team because it gives everyone a sense of safety.

Customer trust is essential for building long-term relationships with your clients. It means giving people better experiences, increasing loyalty, and keeping more customers.
Acting in a way that promotes trust
All TIAH members are asked to act in a manner both in their working life and their private life to promote themselves, their business, and the agriculture industry professionally and positively.
This behaviour includes:
- Promoting the high standards you and the industry stand for
- Understanding that being a professional is about more than how you behave at work; it’s also about how you behave in your private life
- Understanding how your actions affect others and the environment and questioning or changing that behaviour if you can
- Meeting the obligations of your role and doing what you say you will
- Trying to meet the spirit of your professional standards and not just the letter of the standards
- Commit to professional development and role model it to others
